IELTS Exams
The IELTS (International English Language
Testing System) examination can be taken worldwide. It is primarily
designed to assess the preparedness of candidates to study or train
in further or higher education courses held in English at college
or university. Adams and Austen Press has
been publishing IELTS practice and IELTS test materials since 1995,
and has earned a world-wide reputation for providing valuable assistance
and advice to thousands of IELTS candidates. The IELTS books, CD-ROMs,
tapes and videos can be used by the student for self-study or integrated
into an English As A Second Language course programme.
IELTS Educational Materials
Following the popular release of "101 Helpful
Hints For IELTS", Adams and Austen have published the well-received
"202 Useful Exercises For IELTS". Each section
contains exercises in English listening, reading, writing, spelling,
grammar and vocabulary, while two sections also have punctuation
exercises. The exercises in the book are linked to the IELTS hints
contained in "101 Helpful Hints for IELTS" and are designed to complement
the information and practice tests the course book contains.
The 1001 Academic Words
kit has been carefully and thoughtfully compiled to present IELTS
information in the form of a movie file which is not readily available
outside the classroom. The IELTS Tutor CD-ROM contains four sections
relating to the sections of IELTS; reading, writing, speaking and
listening. In addition, worksheets to assist you in understanding
the contents of the movie, practice materials and examples of the
types of questions asked in the IELTS exam are supplied.
