	Think twice before you study from downloaded material online.
	Learning about the IELTS test from downloadable .pdf files is not the best way to study for IELTS.
	We believe books are essential to your success.
	We want you to succeed at IELTS. As English teachers, we care about you and your IELTS score.

	Will you ever make your materials available for downloads?

	We could sell .pdf versions of our materials, but our research shows this is the least effective way to prepare for IELTS. We know that students benefit from hard-copy materials in a way they cannot from eBook material. We may make our books available in .pdf and book format at a later date - but, at present, we do not think it is in the interest of our customers to do so.

	What's wrong with .pdf material?

	We have purchased and read most of the online .pdf IELTS material available and know that it is very limited in its ability to communicate the ideas you need to succeed.

	Why not study online?

	Students who rely on downloaded study materials do not learn as effectively as they do from books or from a professionally-run online course. Unfortunately, much of the free material online is not written by qualified English teachers or even by native English-speakers!

	Aren't all IELTS websites run by English teachers?

	No. Many are marketing websites only interested in selling. We are concerned that some are trying to tell you that there is an easy way to "pass" the test. This is not true. So called secrets to help you pass (?) the test are, in our opinion, not fair to students. Some even say you should only do practice tests to guarantee your score! This is nonsense. You could do practice tests forever and not increase your level by a single band score. Besides, no honest person should guarantee a student a result.
